Road accidents are a major and remarkable problem in Bangladesh. Every year it claims the lives of thousands of people. The most common causes of road accidents in Bangladesh are reckless driving, speeding, overloading, unplanned road constructions and narrow road conditions. There are some other factors that contribute to road accidents include drunk driving, driving under the influence of drugs, and using mobile phones while driving. Moreover, overtaking tendency by the reckless driver and lack of traffic rules it happens almost every day everywhere in Bangladesh.
Though the road mishaps or accident won't be stopped completely, it can be controlled by following and implementing some steps. Drivers have to obey the traffic laws. They should not drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Be aware of your surroundings and drive defensively. Talking on mobile phone while driving should have to be prohibited.
