college, 1st July, 2019: The freshers’ reception function/ceremony/ program has
been held in KD college today. On the day, the college campus was decorated
nicely with colorful flags and festoons. A gorgeous gate was also set up to the
entrance of the college. The function was arranged in the college auditorium.
The day was turned into a festive look. Mr. Motiar Rahman, the principal of the
college presided over the function. The Upazilla chairman was the chief guest.
Some local elites were special guests. At 10 am, reciting from the Holy Quran,
the program was started. At first, the principal delivered his inaugurating
speech. Many students of 2nd year and the lecturers of the college welcomed the
newcomers in their speeches. The special guests and the chief guest also
delivered their precious speeches. The students of 2nd year distributed sweets
and flowers among the freshers. Then a fascinating cultural function was
started. Many students presented different types of songs, dances and reciting
poems. At last, the principal concluded the function thanking all. All the
audiences enjoyed the day very much.
