Story 1: King Solomon and Two Mothers (The Real Mother)

One day, King Solomon, who was world-famous for his wisdom, was sitting in his royal court. Suddenly, two women entered the court crying and carrying a small baby. Both women claimed to be the real mother of the child and demanded justice from the king.
The king was puzzled for a while, as there was no witness to prove who the real mother was. After thinking deeply for a few moments, King Solomon ordered one of his guards to draw a sword, cut the baby into two equal halves, and give one half to each woman.
Upon hearing this verdict, the first woman turned pale with fear. She fell to her knees, burst into tears, and cried out, "Please, My Lord, do not kill the child! Give the baby to her, but let him live!" On the other hand, the second woman remained calm and said, "That is fair, My Lord. Divide the baby so that neither of us gets it."
The wise king immediately understood who the real mother was, because a genuine mother can never tolerate seeing her child harmed. King Solomon handed the baby over to the first woman and sent the deceitful second woman to prison.
Story 2: A Wise Judge and the Stolen Necklace
Once, a valuable necklace was stolen from a rich man's house. Several servants worked in that house, and the owner suspected that one of them had stolen it. He interrogated every servant, but everyone denied the charge. Finding no other solution, the rich man filed a complaint before a wise judge.
The judge summoned all the servants to his court. Once again, everyone declared their innocence. Knowing human psychology, the judge hit upon a clever plan. He gave each servant a wooden stick of identical length and instructed them to return the sticks the next morning. He warned them, "The stick of the real thief will grow by one inch overnight through magical power."
All the innocent servants went home and slept peacefully without worrying. However, the servant who had stolen the necklace became terrified. To prevent his stick from appearing longer the next day, he cut off exactly one inch from his stick before going to bed.
The next morning, when the servants submitted their sticks, the judge found one stick shorter by an inch. The thief was instantly identified, confessed his crime, returned the necklace, and was sent to prison.
