Story Title: Wisdom of King Solomon / King Solomon and the Bee / The Queen of Sheba and Solomon the Wise
King Solomon was the wisest man of his time. His fame spread far and wide. The Queen of Sheba heard about his name and fame. She wanted to test his knowledge and wisdom.
So, one day she came to the court of the king. She brought two garlands of flowers with her—one was natural and the other was artificial. She placed them before the king and asked him to take the real one without touching them. The king thought for some time. It was very difficult to identify the real one because both garlands looked identical in shape, color, and beauty.
At that moment, the king noticed some bees flying outside the palace windows. At once, he ordered his servants to open the windows. The bees flew inside and immediately sat on the real garland of flowers. Seeing this, the king picked the correct garland.
The Queen of Sheba was greatly surprised and charmed by his incredible wisdom and ready wit. She praised the king from her heart and said, “You are truly ‘Solomon the Wise.’”
