Subject: Application for permission to celebrate Victory Day.
Dear Sir,
With due respect, we, the students of your institution, draw your kind attention to the fact that the 16th of December, our glorious Victory Day, is fast approaching. Every year, our institution observes this national day with deep solemnity and enthusiasm to honor the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for our independence.
This year, we wish to organize a special Victory Day program on our campus. Our planned activities include a discussion session on the Liberation War, a patriotic cultural program, and a short drama highlighting the history of our freedom struggle. We believe such an event will inspire patriotic zeal and historical awareness among all students.
To make this celebration successful, we require your kind permission and administrative guidance.
We, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to grant us permission to observe Victory Day on our campus and oblige thereby.
Sincerely yours,
[Your Name]

Important Tips for Students
Principal vs. Headmaster: Use Principal if you are in college (HSC) and Headmaster if you are in school (Class 6–10).
Adaptability: You can replace "draw your kind attention" with "beg to state that" depending on your teacher's preferred format.
Date Adjustments: Make sure the date of the application is set a few days prior to December 16th.
Note: You can
use “beg to state that” in place of “draw your kind attention”
If you are a school student, write Headmaster instead of Principal and use school instead of college.
